Ginny Scott is an abstract expressionist / action painter and has been a professional artist for most of her life. While residing in Westchester County, New York, she studied with noted international artist, Harriet Febland. She exhibited extensively with “The Febland Group” throughout Westchester County, and New York. In addition she exhibited in numerous solo shows. Ginny was a juried member of artists’ equity in New York.
She relocated to Chicago and recently to Indiana. Since moving to Indiana she has exhibited widely throughout the region in solo shows, group and juried exhibits. She has won first prizes and honorable mentions in many exhibits. Ginny taught art in all of her studios and privately. She is a juried member of the area artists’ association of the Lubeznik Center for the Arts, Michigan City, Indiana, a juried member of Northern Indiana Artists’ Inc, South Bend , Indiana, a member of the Krasl Center for the Arts, St. Joseph, Michigan and the Chesterton Art gallery, Chesterton, Indiana. Her studio is located in La Porte, Indiana.
